Pen Bay Pilot, WVII cite UMaine drug hub collaboration
The Penobscot Bay Pilot shared a University of Maine news release about the launch of the Maine Drug Data Hub, a new online portal that integrates information from public health, public safety, corrections and the judicial system to support analysis of drug use statistics. WVII interviewed Marcella Sorg, a University of Maine research professor, and Daniel Soucier, a research associate at the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center, who collaborated with the Governor’s Office of Innovation and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services to develop the portal.
