Stoll talks with BDN about ‘boat to fork’ seafood marketing program

Joshua Stoll, University of Maine assistant professor of marine policy, spoke with the Bangor Daily News about a $500,000 grant to the Local Catch Network, based in the School of Marine Sciences. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP) award is intended to enhance integration of seafood into local food systems, and to fund a nationwide training and technical assistance program in support of sustainable, direct-to-consumer seafood operations.
