McConnon to present as part of ARTober, Maine Edge reports
The Maine Edge reported Jim McConnon, a professor of economics at the University of Maine and with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, will present “Pricing Your Work: Getting Paid for What You Do,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 at 40 Harlow Street in Bangor. McConnon’s talk is part of ARTober, a monthlong celebration of arts and culture in the city. He will speak about how many artists excel at their work but are less confident when it comes to negotiating prices, and what is means to be compensated fairly.
