Hazing Research Noted in Christian Science Monitor

A 2008 University of Maine study about hazing among post-secondary students was noted in a Christian Science Monitor report about a hazing incident involving a California high school soccer team. The report cited statistics from the study that 47 percent of students surveyed had experienced hazing before coming to college and 55 percent of students involved in college clubs, teams and organizations experience hazing. Inside Vandy, the student newspaper covering Vanderbilt University, also mentioned the research in a story about the school’s women’s tennis and lacrosse teams.
