Editorial cites UMaine trash, recycling work
A recent editorial in the Bangor Daily News cited an extensive, statewide study of the contents of residential garbage in 17 communities by the University of Maine School of Economics as evidence that solid waste can and should be reduced through reusing, recycling or composting as much as possible for environmental and economic reasons.
