McConnon Interviewed for Rising Food Price Article

University of Maine Cooperative Extension specialist and professor of economics Jim McConnon was interviewed for a recent Ellsworth American article about rising food prices taxing budget-strapped consumers. McConnon explained that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has predicted a 3-4 percent increase in food prices in 2011, largely due to escalating energy costs.
