Master Gardener Program Mentioned in Newspaper Report
Seacoast Online, the website for a number of newspapers in southern Maine and New Hampshire, reported on an open house held in South Berwick, Maine, noted the presence of a display by the UMaine Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program. The story said the UMaine table had a composting bin with worms, and children who were at a nearby apple-tasting table were dropping their apple cores into the composting bin to feed the worms.
