Brewer in AP Gay Marriage Story
Mark Brewer, a UMaine political scientist, was quoted in an Associated Press story about supporters and opponents of gay marriage gearing up for a possible statewide referendum on the issue in November 2012. Brewer said there will be a lot of money available because of the presidential election and Sen. Olympia Snowe being up for re-election, but it is too early to say what the fundraising landscape will look like for the gay marriage issue.
