Website Carries Release About New Smart-Phone App
The website Smart Grid ran a UMaine news release about a smart phone application developed by students in the classroom of Yifeng Zhu, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering. The app, which is available for free through the online Android Market, is an open-source application that allows users to view weekly class schedules, class locations, and textbooks, along with parking information, building maps, and a directory of faculty and staff.
