Report On Possible UMaine Hockey Game At Fenway
The Bangor Daily News is reporting that there is a chance the UMaine hockey team could play an outdoor game at Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox. Hockey East Commissioner Joe Bertagna said the league has been in negotiations with the Red Six for more games since the BU and BC men’s teams and New Hampshire and Northeastern women’s teams played at Fenway in 2010. A UMaine-New Hampshire men’s matchup would be a marquee game, Bertagna said.
