Segee Featured in Mainebiz Computing Story
Comments from Bruce Segee of the UMaine electrical and computer engineering faculty are included in a front-page Mainebiz story about efforts to leverage cyberinfrastructure and supercomputing resources to assist in statewide economic development efforts. The story notes that a University of Maine System-led initiative, Cyberinfrastructure Investment for Development, Economic Growth and Research (CIDER) recently received a $250,000 Maine Technology Institute grant. Jeff Letorneau, executive director of the system’s Networkmaine initiative, is also quoted in the story.
