Humphrey in Story on High-Tech Economy
Comments from Dean Dana Humphrey of UMaine’s College of Engineering are included in a Thursday Portland Press Herald story about a Wednesday Portland forum on the “technical revolution” and Maine’s economic future. Humphrey notes that the UMaine college is at record enrollment levels, but it is not able to educate enough engineers to meet the demand in Maine. Approximately 200 people attended the forum, hosted by the Portland chamber of commerce.
