Hockey East Coaches Rank Black Bears #2
The annual Hockey East coaches’ poll was released Wednesday at the league’s media day in Boston. The Maine Black Bears, who lost last year’s league championship game in overtime, are ranked second behind Boston College. Coach Tim Whitehead’s Black Bears, led by 2010 Hobey Baker Award finalist Gustav Nyquist, open their season with a Sunday Oct. 3 exhibition game against Acadia.
