News Center Maine features PFAS Center for Excellence
News Center Maine featured the upcoming PFAS Center for Excellence located at the University of Maine and its potential to lead the way nationally in PFAS solutions research. “What will be key is for us to hire a research leader with expertise in PFAS research and a vision of where this program would go in the next 10 years,” said Bryan Peterson, associate professor of environmental horticulture. “We have to throw everything at it so that any resources made available to mitigate PFAS is extremely timely and critical,” said Onur Apul, assistant professor of environmental engineering at UMaine.
