SAD 22 To Hear From Knowledge Transfer Alliance
The board of directors of SAD 22, which includes Hampden, Newburgh and Winterport, is considering working with UMaine as the towns decide what to do with the building that houses Hampden Academy, according to a Bangor Daily News story. A new school building is now under construction. According to the story, the board of directors will hear during a meeting Tuesday a presentation from the Knowledge Transfer Alliance, a collaboration of UMaine departments, business assistance agencies, local community and economic development districts, and private sector representatives.
