Dill speaks with BDN about monkey slugs

Jim Dill, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension pest management specialist, talked with the Bangor Daily News about monkey slugs. The monkey slug is actually a caterpillar that can be mistaken for a spider as it has a hairy body and nine appendages. Monkey slugs are common in Maine but rarely seen. Yahoo News and WGME (Channel 13 in Portland) shared the BDN story.
