Incoming Faculty Member Quoted in Story About Al-Jazeera Talk
Justin Martin, who will start this fall teaching journalism at UMaine, was quoted in a Bangor Daily News story about controversy surrounding Al-Jazeera Washington Bureau Chief Abderrahim Foukara’s upcoming talk at the Strand Theatre in Rockland. Martin, who most recently taught at the American University in Cairo, told the BDN Al-Jazeera is considered to be an extremely legitimate news source globally with a comprehensive international network.
