UMaine student writes op-ed on natural gas reliance for Press Herald
University of Maine student Megan Sauberlich wrote an opinion piece for the Portland Press Herald titled “Reducing Maine’s reliance on natural gas will benefit climate, consumers.” Sauberlich said the switch to heat pumps from heating oil is creating more energy affordability in Maine and that burning natural gas inside the home is harmful to human health and the environment.
