Oral abstracts
Oral abstracts must fit within the guidelines of one of the session topics outlined on the concurrent sessions* page.
Submission Deadline
The submission deadline for oral abstracts is Friday, January 6, 2023. Abstracts can be submitted online or as an email attachment (Microsoft Word document or rtf file) to umgmc@maine.edu.
Notification of acceptance of oral abstracts for presentation will take place no later than Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
Guidelines for Oral Abstracts
- Select online form or indicate that this is an oral presentation.
- Indicate which session the abstract is being submitted to.
- Provide a title that accurately summarizes the subject of the presentation.
- Indicate names, affiliations, and emails for all authors
- Indicate “presenting” after the presenting author’s name.
- If the presenting author is a student, indicate “student” after name.
- Provide an abstract not to exceed 250 words.
- Abstract should state the purpose, significant results, and main conclusion of work.
