Jean MacRae discusses PFAS at 10/25/22 BDN webinar

Mitchell Center faculty fellow Jean MacRae was a panelist of a recent Bangor Daily News webinar on what we know about PFAS and why it matters. The webinar included discussions about what are PFAS, and how are they impacting water, agriculture, and human health in Maine – and across the nation? The webinar was co-moderated by Tricia Rouleau, Farm Network director at Maine Farmland Trust and Mehr Sher, BDN environmental reporter and Report for America corps member. Other panelists included Meagan Hennessey, Director of PFAS Response, Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry and Dr. Noah Nesin, Primary Care Innovation Adviser, Penobscot Community Health Care, and Past-President, Maine Public Health Association Board of Directors.
