Project Goals

  1. Strengthen processes for evaluating and enhancing the success of climate adaptation programs and projects
  2. Develop framework and criteria to measure and track progress

Project Strategies

Phase I

  • Examine other frameworks and criteria used for climate adaptation evaluation
  • Develop list of publicly available data/metrics
  • Evaluate applicability in different contexts

Phase II

  • Seek input from diverse Maine stakeholders
  • Assessment of strengths and limitations of alternative evaluation approaches
  • Develop a framework for how both quantitative and qualitative information can be used during evaluation process
