Maine Campus Media featured an article on Sharon Klein‘s Mitchell Center ‘LEAN In’ talk in its April 17 edition.
The article covered the research that led Klein to look at the implications of starting a Local Energy and climate Action Network (LEAN) in Maine, the success of Vermont’s LEAN, and her current work with students on community solar and sustainable energy projects.
Klein, an associate professor in economics and Mitchell Center Faculty Fellow, describes herself as an interdisciplinary sustainable energy researcher and educator. She spends much of her time focused on energy efficiency in a sustainable sense, looking at everything from public policy to environmental engineering.
