Press features talk from Daigle and students about threats from emerald ash borer

A June presentation at Maine Audubon Society’s Gilsland Farm in Falmouth by John Daigle and his Ph.D. students was featured in an article in Portland Press Herald and Centralmaine.com. Daigle is a professor in the School of Forest Resources and a Mitchell Center Faculty Fellow. The article, about the threats the emerald ash borer poses to brown ash trees, focused on the many ways the state and researchers are helping prevent its spread including slowing down its progress, collecting seeds, and removing trees that aren’t doing well.
