Wes Brinegar

Role: Wes Brinegar writes and edits a variety of content, including Black Bear Profiles, campus announcements, news releases, media citations and social media posts. He also supports the editorial staff with community and media outreach.

Bio: Brinegar is a fourth-year communication student here at the University of Maine. He works at The Maine Campus as the business manager, and plays the trumpet in the UMaine Jazz Ensemble. After graduating in spring 2024, Brinegar plans to earn a masters degree in strategic communication, and hopes to pursue a career in public relations.
