Office of Major Scholarships

During this workshop students will have the opportunity to ask  questions about the U.S. Student Fulbright Program.  They will then work in small groups to look at the details of applying to specific countries of their choice. Additionally they will plan all necessary steps to prepare a Fulbright application.

This workshop is held on Zoom. Interested students can write to the OMS Director, nives.dalbowheeler@maine.edu to request the sign-up information.

Before attending the meeting students are asked to watch the introductory video on the Fulbright Program.

The UMaine internal deadline is August 31st 2020.

The national application deadline is October 13th 2020 (for programs beginning Fall 2021).
