The Gilman Scholarship provides up to $5,000 in funding to students who are studying abroad while receiving a Federal Pell Grant. The funding can be used to cover travel, room and board, and other necessary expenses.

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens

The George Mitchell Peace Scholarship provides UMaine students with the opportunity to study abroad at University College Cork in Ireland. The scholarship covers travel, room and board, and tuition expenses.

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and Maine residents.
