2010 High School Writing Center Conference
Seventy students and ten advisors from established high school writing centers as well as schools interested in starting a writing center, attended the annual conference hosted by the MWP. MWP TCs and their students represented Erskine Academy, Hampden Academy, Mt. Ararat High School, Mt. View High School, Nokomis High School, and Old Town High School. They gathered to share ideas and strategies that have proved helpful in their school writing centers.
The day began with writing – What makes writing easy/challenging for you?
And continued with entertaining and informative presentations from the peer tutors.
