Equipment Rental Policies

Reservations

• Customers must pay the full rental fee in advance to reserve equipment.
• Equipment can be reserved in person or over the phone during open hours.
• Reservations can be cancelled free of charge.
• Refunds will not be issued for equipment not picked up.
• Refunds will not be issued for equipment picked up, but not used.

Gear Pick Up

• All rentals can be picked up at Maine Bound Adventure Center during normal open hours.

Gear Returns

• All gear must be returned during normal open hours.
• Tent rentals only: you will need to set the tent up for drying and inspection upon return.
• Equipment returned late will be subject to base rate multiplied by number of days late.
• Please return all gear items clean.  
• You are responsible for the full replacement cost of gear if it is lost or stolen. A damaged fee will be charged for items damaged beyond normal wear.
