Winter Programming and First Week of the New Semester
At the start of the holiday break, students took a trip down to the Stillwater River on a chilly winter night to check out the holiday lights put on by the town of Orono. After the New Year, OIP secured a number of tickets for a Men’s Ice Hockey game versus Denver University, bringing around 20 students out to enjoy the game. For many, this was their first experience with the sport, and they absolutely loved the energy and excitement it brought. A couple of weeks later, following the orientation of our new arrival students, the semester began and with it came the first Coffee Hour of the new year! Students enjoyed pizza and drink and enjoyed an evening of socializing with friends old and new.
