Alumni Reunions Fall 2023
Alfiya Battalova and Pratick Mukherjee visited in early July, 2023. Alfiya earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2011 and is now an Assistant Professor in Justice Studies at Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia. Pratick earned a Master’s degree in Economics, also in 2011; after working as an accountant for many years, he is now transitioning to a new field.
Betelhem “Beti” Abay stopped by on August, 2023 for a surprise visit. Beti graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2020, and a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering in 2022. She is starting a second master’s program for greater specialization.
It was exciting to see Ramat Oyetunji and her family also in August, 2023. This “Bear Pair” was in the area and decided to pay us a visit. Ramat earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001, and an MBA in 2005.
Nipun came back 5 years after his previous visit to bring a NEW student to campus. Nipun graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance (double major). He is now an Auditor for Ernest and Young in Boston.
