An essential part of obtaining a patent, or registering a trademark, is searching the database of existing ones before you even start your application. In this workshop, John Hutchinson of the Patent & Trademark Resource Center, will teach you how to do a search on the official United States Patent & Trademark Office databases for both patents and trademarks. Feel fee to bring your laptop and learn first hand!

This is in-person only and will occur in Classroom 1 in Fogler Library. The event is free and advance registration is required. Participants may register online
