This piece was an exercise in seeing the world through the eyes of a small creature that was dropped into our world. This creature is called Fig who is an interdimensional explorer who found themselves transported to earth and is starting to investigate their new surroundings.

Artist Statement

My artwork evolves as I myself evolve. My main influences are folklore, mythology, life cycles, and nature. Through my work I create my own language and my own myth while blending together what has already been established. By doing this I enrich my inner world as well as the outerworld.
