Music Education

The Division of Music within the School of Performing Arts offers a 30-credit Master of Music degree in Music Education which is accredited through the National Association of Schools of Music.

Individualized curricula are designed to meet students’ interests and needs while offering a balanced program of academic and professional courses. Students also have the opportunity to pursue a concentration in conducting.

Entrance Requirements

All students wishing to pursue graduate studies in music must pass an entry audition.

Test Required: Departmental exams in Music Theory and Music History prior to 13th credit hour of coursework
