Human Nutrition

The Human Nutrition certificate offered by the School of Food and Agriculture is 100% online and is a 12-credit program. The certificate will work to offset the demand for well-educated professionals in the field of Human Nutrition and Dietetics.

Educational objectives

  1. Critically assess current research and apply evidence-based practice in the nutritional assessment and care of individuals or populations.
  2. Strengthen competencies in the field of Human Nutrition.

Students who are currently enrolled in a master’s degree program through the Graduate School and who wish to pursue an approved graduate certificate program simultaneously must apply for admission to the certificate program before one-half of the required credits are completed.
