Comprehensive Literacy Coaching
The Comprehensive Literacy Coaching graduate certificate program is a 15 credit program of study designed for Maine Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy coaches working in public schools PreK-12 interested in improving their knowledge and skill concerning literacy coaching. It is a hybrid program involving face-to-face, on-site and online coursework. This certificate is intended to meet the increasing demand in Maine for literacy coaches to provide job related professional development at the school and district level.
Courses include:
- EEL 580. Theoretical Perspectives in MPCL Coaching I (3 credits)
- EEL 581. Theoretical Perspectives in MPCL Coaching II (3 credits)
- EEL 582 Clinical Practices in MPCL Coaching I (2 credits)
- EEL 583 Clinical Practices in MPCL Coaching II (1 credit)
- EEL 585. Reflective Practice (3 credits)
- EDH 510 Introduction to Educational Research or equivalent (3 credits)
