MSN Nurse Educator

Nurse educators are advanced practice registered nurses who guide nurses and students using evidence-based instruction and clinical expertise. They serve as clinical and laboratory instructors for schools of nursing, didactic clinical faculty in schools of nursing, and as clinical experts providing nursing education in hospitals and other clinical environments. This is a career that is highly in demand. The United States is currently experiencing a critical shortage of nurse educators. This program of study may be tailored for full-time or part-time study.

Individualized MSN

The I-MSN pathway allows the student to develop a program of study that builds upon their professional interests and career goals. I-MSN students may prepare for professional careers in areas such as nurse administration, public health, gerontology, or other specialties. This program of study may be tailored for full-time or part-time study.

Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP)

This theoretical and clinically-based curriculum prepares nurses as primary health care providers who promote health, prevent illness, and manage common health problems across the lifespan.  Health care issues affecting rural and other underserved communities are integrated throughout the curriculum. The MSN-FNP curriculum meets the 2012 Criteria for Evaluation of  Nurse Practitioner Programs published by the National Task Force on Quality Nurse Practitioner Education.
