Graduate School Commencement – Visitor Information
The Graduate School Commencement Ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. on May 10, 2025, at the Cross Insurance Center. Attendees should plan for at least a 3-hour ceremony.
Helpful Info about:
Graduate School Commencement guest tickets are not required for guests to attend Commencement.
Doors will open at 5 pm and guests should arrive at the Cross Insurance Center by 5:30 pm for early seating. Seating is general admission.
Ushers will be available if guests have any questions.
For those who cannot physically attend, the event will be viewable through a live stream feed on May 10th. Watch this space for more information to follow.

Backpacks, large bags, and strollers – Backpacks, large tote bags, and strollers are not permitted.
Re-entry into the arena is not permitted.
Smoking – The Cross Insurance Center is a non-smoking facility. All seating areas are classified as non-smoking. The Cross Insurance Center does not having a smoking section. It is prohibited to smoke anywhere inside the Cross Insurance Center.
For safety reasons, no person, other than credentialed photographers and staff, may approach the stage for any reason.
The Cross Insurance Center is one of the most adaptable and accessible entertainment venues in New England. The Cross Insurance Center was designed and built to accommodate guests with special needs by complying with all ADA specifications. Visit their accessibility page to find information.

CONCESSIONS
The Cross Center will have a concession stand open until 8:00 p.m. during the ceremony. Please note that the concession stand is cashless.
UNIVERSITY OF MAINE MERCHANDISE
The University of Maine Bookstore will be on site with UMaine merchandise for purchase (no regalia). They will be accepting electronic and cash payments.
