Rock Painting
- Rocks are in Bryand for those who want to pick theirs up!
Mt. Apatite – Mineral Collecting Trip
- Saturday, 23rd September @ 9:00AM – meet at Bryand Global Science Center
- Located in Auburn, Maine
NEIGC [October 6th-October 8th]
- Sign ups closed
- Everyone got their first choice on field trips!
- If you got a Canada trip + do not have a passport, please email Eyan/Thomas
- Weekend will be COLD
- Presque Isle is cold in early october!
- Make sure to pack layers
- Tents/sleeping bags/sleeping pads can be rented at MaineBound (the sleeping bags are NOT sketchy – they wash them, I’ve used one before and I’m not dead)
- IF you are going on a Canada field trip, bring your passport!
Fund-Raising Idea Brainstorm
- Rock + Mineral Show, charge admission to get in
- Bake sale
- Jewellery
- Use a rock tumblr
- Wire wrapping? Eyan is apparently a jewellery master??
- Bottle Collection – box decoration
- An ongoing fundraiser we already have
- Needs updated collection boxes
- Also schedule pickup times!
