What is Geology Club?
The UMaine Geological Society, better known as Geology Club, is an undergraduate student organization at the University of Maine that brings together students who all have one thing in common: the love for rocks and minerals!
What does Geology Club do?
Geology Club does many types of events and activities. These include (but are not limited to):
- Geology Field Trips
- Rock Collecting
- Rock and Mineral Shows
- Trivia Nights
- Mineral Displays
- Research Presentations

Who can join Geology Club?
Although many of our members are majors of the School of Earth and Climate Sciences, we accept members from any and all majors!
