Edwin Nagy

Edwin Nagy is a lecturer in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maine, and a Senior Structural Engineer at Kleinschmidt Associates. He has over fifteen years of experience in residential, commercial and hydro-power engineering. Dr. Nagy completed his undergraduate work in math and physics and Amherst College before joining the Peace Corps as a high school math teacher in Zinder, Niger. He completed his masters and and doctoral degrees at the University of Maine and has worked in Arizona and Maine. In addition to engineering, Edwin has worked for many years in live theater as an electrician, carpenter and designer.
