Fogler Library opens at 10 a.m. today, May 6. Some areas of the building will be closed for cleaning and maintenance. Please speak with library staff if you need assistance navigating the building.

Orono Fire Department responded just after 9 p.m. May 5 to a report of a small fire between the first and second floors in Fogler Library. Building evacuated; no injuries reported. Library closed until further notice.

Afshin Zarechian, the 20-year-old Manchester, NH man sought in connection with a social media threat this past weekend, has been found safe in Western Maine. UMaine PD again thanks the university community for its cooperation throughout the investigation.
