The University of Maine invites the public to attend the official launch celebration of UMaine Arctic. UMaine Arctic connects institutions, programs, and people with an interest in the Arctic and
Arctic-impacted areas. The celebration provides an opportunity to learn about UMaine Arctic
activities and engage with potential collaborators.
Attendees will discover how the UMaine community is:

Characterizing Arctic processes and their regional and global impact
•
Helping New England and Arctic communities prepare for the impact of changes in the Arctic
•
Providing educational opportunities related to the Arctic
