Aaron Weiskittel’s work has covered a broad spectrum of spatial scales ranging from individual conifer needles to large regional landscapes. The primary focus of his work on the development of applied quantitative tools for forest managers.
Since arriving in Maine, Aaron has been focused on developing a new growth and yield model for the Acadian Region, evaluating stem taper/volume equations, and exploring the potential influence of climate change on forest productivity.
