Core Voucher Application Form

Use this form to request funding to be applied towards the cost of using a CORE Service Center for research or educational activities.

Instructions and Eligibility:

Any enrolled student at the University of Maine is eligible to apply for a CORE Voucher. The student must arrange for a faculty contact to serve as their advisor, although the activity does not have to be directly overseen or approved by the advisor.

All activity will be scheduled and billed using the university’s lab management system, iLab. Voucher recipients must have an active iLab profile before beginning their proposed activity, and will receive instructions for creating a profile after awards have been announced.

Funds must be spent at the CORE Service Center indicated on the application. Changes to anticipated activity or timeline from initial proposal must be shared with CORE Director Megan Tardif (megan.tardif@maine.edu) in writing as soon as possible.

Activities must be completed within the semester in which the voucher was issued. Retroactive requests or reimbursement will not be considered.

Extended Funding Agreement*

I understand that, should service center costs exceed my approved voucher amount, I require an alternative source of extended funding to cover the excess.
