Michael Call
Michael Call came to the University of Maine in 2001. His previous experience includes his time as a sensor fabrication engineer for the Sensor Research and Development Corporation of Orono, as a photolithography equipment technician for National Semiconductor Corporation of South Portland, Maine, and as a ground radio and cryptologic equipment technician for the United States Air Force and Maine Air National Guard.

Duties and Skills:
– Serve as liaison between CORE labs and UMS Facilities Management to expedite service requests and assure that lab / equipment expertise and familiarity is extended throughout any service or maintenance visit
– Assist CORE lab managers with implementation and set-up of new equipment
– Document standard operating procedures for equipment
– Provide design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair services campus-wide
