Terence is the Manager of Faculty Support at the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning.

B.A. Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in digital signal processing, UMaine

Background and Interests

After graduation, Terence began working with the University of Maine’s Continuing and Distance Education as a Database Developer and Digital Marketing Coordinator. He later moved into a role as Staff Associate of Technology and eventually became the Manager of Student Support Services within the Division of Lifelong Learning.

In his role at CITL Terence provides technical support services to faculty across the University of Maine/University of Maine at Machias (UMaine/UMM) campus, helping them to effectively use various applications related to teaching and learning, such as learning management systems, video streaming services, audience response systems, and productivity and collaboration tools.  He also is an operational lead for the UMaine HackerSpace and coordinates with students and staff members on issues relating to access, learning technology support, and strategic concerns that may arise. 

Terence has close working relationships with faculty, students, and staff have provided a foundation for how crucial a prompt response is to the success of a course. He strives to ensure faculty and student satisfaction and success is met for all UMaine/UMM courses.

In his free time, Terence enjoys staying active through swing and ballroom dancing, spending time with his family and children, and exploring his creative side through cooking and photography.
