CFRU hiring field research positions for summer 2025

Who are we looking for? 

  • Organized, kind, patient, empathetic people who are excited about gaining field research experience and exposure to CFRU projects as a team.
  • Field Crew Leader (1): $18-19/hr
  • Field Research Technicians (3): $16-17.50/hr

What the work entails:

  • Re-measuring long-term forest research plots through northern and central Maine. More information on the project can be found here.

What’s new this year?

  • CFRU crews will be connected with a variety of ongoing funded research projects throughout the summer that include ecosystem and wildlife studies, remote sensing applications, and more. Read more about ongoing CFRU work here. We are passionate about connecting students interested in research or applied science opportunities with our scientists to provide a wide range of exposure to things they can do during or after college.
