The Cooperative Forestry Research Unit is hiring for multiple positions for field crews to conduct measurements on long-term research sites throughout central and northern Maine.
We are seeking two forest research technicians to conduct a variety of forest measurements as well as a bird technician to conduct sound and sight surveys early in the morning. We are looking for independent, motivated individuals who are interested in conducting research in Maine’s working forests. Work begins in late May and runs through middle/late August. The work week consists of 4, 10 hour shifts, Monday – Thursday often requiring crews to camp during the work week. Click here to apply today!
