Morgan Tallman, M.A.

Morgan is a third-year doctoral student in Dr. MacAulay’s CARE Lab! She attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she obtained a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Applied Communication Studies. Morgan went on to obtain her M.A. in Clinical Psychology at SIUE. Broadly, her research interests include studying risk factors for cognitive decline to inform early interventions. She is also interested in understanding the relationships between emotional and cognitive functioning. Clinically, her interests focus on neuropsychological assessment in older adults with concern for cognitive decline.


Soumya Gupta, M.A.

Soumya is a first-year doctoral student in Dr. MacAulay’s CARE lab! She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning a B.S. in Neurobiology and Psychology, followed by an M.A. in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests focus on changes in cognitive functioning associated with aging, neurodegeneration, and protective factors that contribute to resilience against cognitive decline. She is also interested in exploring the social determinants of health and their impact on cognitive functioning. Clinically, Soumya’s interest lies in neuropsychological assessments for individuals with neurodegenerative and neurological conditions.


Allyson Goldstein, B.A., B.S.

Allyson is a first-year doctoral student in Dr. MacAulay’s CARE lab! She graduated from Providence College with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. Her research interests include the development of interventions aimed at promoting functional independence in older adults with cognitive impairment, and interventions aimed at improving psychosocial factors related to disease management. Allyson’s clinical interests focus on neuropsychological assessment in older adults with memory concerns, movement disorders, and epilepsy.
