Lifeguard Certification Course

We are hosting a Lifeguard Certification Course open to all applicants needing a lifeguard recertification.

What you get: Lifeguarding (including dep-water) with CPR/AED and First Aid for Professional Rescuers

Requirements to partake in the course:

• At least 15 years of age at the start of the certification course (Need Documentation)

Dates/Times/Locations:

• Sunday, April 6th: 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Wallace Memorial Pool
• Saturday, April 12th: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • New Balance Student Recreation Center
• Sunday, April 13th: 10:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
  • New Balance Student Recreation Center
• Sunday, April 13th: 2:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
  • Wallace Memorial Pool
• Saturday, April 19th: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • New Balance Student Recreation Center

Registration & Fees: Registering and payments are made at the Front Desk of the New Balance Student Recreation Center, we accept cards, cash, or checks. (All checks are made to the University of Maine, not New Balance Student Recreation Center).

Member Costs: $250.00

Non-member Costs: $300.00

Notice: At least four participants are required to run the course, if we have less than four, the course will be canceled at least 72 hours before the prerequisite date on December 15th, and you will be fully reimbursed. Registration for the course will close Friday at 5:00 p.m. EST—the week of the prerequisite start date.

All dates must be attended: Though if April 19th needs to be made up (as a result to being the day before Easter) please let me know, we can schedule during the week of the 14th to the 18th in the afternoons as make up times
